This book by Kusho Bagdro former political prisoner of occupied Tibet
is all about fact and truth that demonstrate Tibet and China are two separate and independent countries before 1959 and the Chinese language history book written by Chinese scholars explicitly chronicles the existence of three distinct empires of Tibet , Mongolia and China in 8,9 and 10 centuries. Future relation of the two countries with different history, culture, language , way of life ( Tibetans are innately compassionate, tolerant and humane and humble as acknowledged by Chinese tourists visiting occupied Tibet ) will depend on the reality of mutual respect and mutual benefit and reconciliation on the principle of live and let live peacefully and in dignity non discrimination and dehumanisation of Tibetans by ruler mind set of Chinese authority under whom 1.3 billion Chinese people also live in fear of totalitarian Chinese authority.
Current situation in Tibet looks very grim and hopeless but nothing is predictable as dismantling of apartheid system in South Africa and Berlin Wall bear witness. Hope is the best thing to Bank on. After all impermanence and change is the law of nature.

Dit boek is geschreven door Kusho Bagdro, een voormalig politiek gevangene uit bezet Tibet.
In 1988 werd Kusho Bagdro, monnik uit het Gaden klooster,  door de Chinese autoriteiten opgepakt, gemarteld en gevangengezet. Na drie jaar werd hij vrijgelaten en vluchtte hij naar India.
Hij heeft al veel geschreven over zijn gevangenschap en de onderdrukking in Tibet.
In dit boek schrijft hij onder meer over hoe China en Tibet twee gescheiden landen waren tot 1959, daarvoor waren er duidelijk drie rijken: Tibet, China en Mongolië, dit is beschreven in vele oude teksten en boeken. China en Tibet hadden verschillende talen, cultuur, manier van leven.
Maar er is nog ruimte voor hoop, ook de apartheid in Zuid Afrika en de Berlijnse muur zijn geslecht.
Kusho Bagdro woont momenteel in India en publiceert geregeld over Tibet en de Bezetting van Tibet. Zodra dit boek in de Tibetwinkel verkrijgbaar is, wordt hier een link geplaatst.

A former Gaden monk who was shot while protesting in 1988, Kusho Bagdro survived three years of torture and beatings before his release and eventual escape to India. Not one to acquiesce too easily once in exile, Kusho Bagdro has been to over 30 countries to speak on Tibet and has authored 15 publications, the most wellknown is his book titled, ‘Tibetans will be happy in Tibet, Chinese will be happy in China.’
