ANBI – Public Benefit Organisation
Stichting Tibet Support Groep Nederland is registered as an ANBI (Algemeen Nut Beogende Instelling) — a Dutch public benefit organisation. This means that donations to our organisation are tax-deductible for Dutch taxpayers.

Mission and activities
The statutory mission of the foundation is:
"To support the aspiration of the Tibetan people — both those living inside and outside Tibet — in their pursuit of self-determination, respect for human rights, and improvement of the general living conditions of the Tibetan land."
Policy plan
The foundation pursues its mission through:
- Organising campaigns and demonstrations in the Netherlands and the EU
- Publishing the Tibet Newsletter (4 to 6 times per year)
- Writing opinion and informational articles for Dutch media
- Organising public information evenings about Tibet
Partners
- International Campaign for Tibet (ICT)
- International Tibet Network
Where possible, the foundation provides financial and practical support to organisations within the Tibetan community in the Netherlands.
Staff and volunteers
Tibet Support Group relies largely on volunteers. For continuity, two people are responsible on an hourly basis for:
- Coordination
- Organisation
- Finance
Note: Since November 2016 there are no paid employees.
